....beautiful blooms, microgrees and gourmet mushrooms from the heart of West Suffolk!
Although it has been stressful at times, I have successfully navigated village fairs, a wedding, a funeral and supplied a number of lovely florists with my stunning British ‘grown not flown’ flowers and received some lovely feedback on how great they and the foliage looked.
Of course, with the approaching end of the flower season there is still lots of work to do prepping beds for next year and planning the layout for more beds and a second poly tunnel. The first of my bulbs are in and the rest will be done this week in readiness for an amazing spray of colour next spring. We will have Tulips, Daffs, Hyacinths, and Alliums hopefully!
As I sit here by the lovely open fire in the cottage and look at my Instagram page, I realise just how busy I was, and next year is going to be even bigger. I already have some events planned and we hope to run our first workshops in December where I will be working with my talented daughter Daisy to demonstrate how to make eco-friendly wreaths to decorate the home with.
Anyway, back to work as there is so much to do out in the field.
See you soon
Paula
